Launch: Air Jordan 1 ‘Black Gum’

The Jordan fever always seems to hit it’s peak around November/December and launching tomorrow is the iconic Air Jordan 1 ‘Black Gum’.

Featuring an all black upper with two different types of black leather sitting atop a black midsole and a gum outsole.


This limited release will be available online and in selected OFFSPRING stores tomorrow.

Black Friday Release: Jordan VI ‘Infrared’

The Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ is almost here and we at OFFSPRING HQ cannot wait. This highly anticipated Black Friday launch is set to be a big one as its been 4 years since its last release.

First released in 1991, the Jordan VI made the headlines when Michael Jordan himself won his first championship over the LA Lakers whilst wearing this exact pair.


This remastered retro version sports a premium black nubuck upper with a 3M reflective underlay beneath the perforated sides. It is finished off with infrared and grey accents and a classic Jordan ice blue sole.

The Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ is launching in-store and online here, on Friday 28th November.




Reebok x Keith Haring SS14

The exclusive partnership fuses art with fashion and reflects Reebok’s commitment to culture- whether music, fashion or art- and the brand’s devotion to celebrating the world’s leading creative talent.

 keith haringEach model in the Reebok Classic X Keith Haring collection features a custom Haring sock liner, full-grain leather upper with raised 3D print and Haring’s signature on the heel. The collection features bold, bright orange, pink and green uppers that are emblazoned with black artwork.

 The Reebok Classic X Keith Haring collection was inspired by one of Haring’s most celebrated works, “Matrix”, a 30-foot-long-ink on paper drawing created in 1983. This internationally acclaimed work was most recently on view at the Brooklyn Museum as part of the “Keith Haring: 1978-1982” exhibition which ran from March 16 – July 8, 2012.

Jordan 6 “Carmine”

At Offspring HQ we love a Jordan launch and dropping this Saturday is the classic Jordan 6 “Carmine”.

The retro favourite was the first Jordan 6 to have coloured panels on the upper, with a white and carmine red leather upper, black detailing and toggle lace fastening. This updated Jordan 6 “Carmine” has a contemporary twist with ice blue sole detail.


The Jordan 6 “Carmine” launches in store and online here on Saturday 24th May 2014.


Air Jordan 10 “Venom Green”

With Air Jordan’s “Venom Green” series appearing this Spring, the collection’s big launch is the Air Jordan 10.

The fourth release of the  Air Jordan 10 model to launch this year, it features an all black upper in tumbled leather with soft nubuck panels and elastic loop lace system. The “Venom Green” is highlighted in a chequered print lining and in striped accents along the translucent blue sole. The final hidden detail that makes the Jordan 10 unique is the list of Michael Jordan’s achievements listed on the base of the sole.


The Air Jordan 10 “Venom Green” is released on Saturday 22nd March and will be available in all Offspring stores and online here.


Reebok InstaPump Fury x BAU

In celebration of Reebok’s 20th anniversary of the iconic InstaPump Fury comes an exciting new collaboration with Frank the Butcher, using one of the sneaker world’s most renowned design experts to rework one of Reebok’s most innovative silhouettes.



Frank’s development from sneaker fan to a respected designer reflects in his designs, showing genuine passion and individualist design that make up his signature aesthetic. Also known as the ‘Father/Daughter’ pack these limited edition InstaPump Fury’s were inspired by the creative talent of Frank’s daughter, resulting in two colourways that could be worn by both men and women.


The collaboration falls under Frank The Butcher’s Business As Usual (BAU) collection and have the signature slogan “All Is Fair” embroidered over the toe box. They feature a woven jacquard splatter design across the upper in either nude or candy pink, colour block leather accents at the toe and heel, a white Hexalite sole unit and of course the iconic Pump mechanism.

The 2 colours of the limited InstaPump Fury x BAU are only available in store in Offspring Selfridges London.


Air Jordan III ‘Powder Blue’

One of the most popular Jordan models, the Air Jordan III is back with a fresh colourway for 2014. The ‘Powder Blue’ features a soft blue nubuck leather upper, accented with black and the iconic elephant print along the heel and toe cap. A classic silhouette that keeps coming back with an exciting mix of fresh and OG colourways, it’s understandable that it has become a Jordan lovers favourite.

Released on Saturday 18th January, the Air Jordan III ‘Powder Blue’ is available at all London Offspring stores and Offspring Selfridges in Birmingham and Manchester.


Jordan 5 ‘Oreo’

With the Jordan 5 model celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year, it seemed the perfect time to drop a new colourway.

This latest release features the well known black and white ‘Oreo’ colourway. Draped in black nubuck with an anthracite tongue and matching laces. The midsole is a mix of black and white with a flash of classic speckle print, an icy blue outsole and the iconic ‘23’ embroidery on the outside heel.

This limited release will drop in all Offspring stores on Friday 29th November, also known as Black Friday, when Christmas shopping gets into full swing and online at from the 2nd December, so make sure you snatch up a pair before the Christmas shoppers descend.

Y-3; The History of

It has been 13 years since sports giant adidas started its largest alliance with avant-garde fashion designer Yoji Yamamoto. Their aim was to create the perfect combination of sports and fashion, pushing the boundaries with innovative designs and expert craftsmanship. The logo Y-3 symbolizes this collaboration, with the ‘Y’ standing for Yoji Yamamoto, the ‘3’ represent adidas’ infamous 3 stripes and the ‘-‘symbolizing the bond between the two.

Fashion and sportswear have often found themselves using the same thought process, how to dress the body for its daily endurances. With Yamamoto’s designs exploring structure, silhouettes and perceptions of body’s moving inside of clothes, Y-3 introduced adidas to a more elite segment of the fashion market.

First linking up in July 2002, the collection shows in Paris during Fashion Week, showcasing the fusion of Japanese prints and paintings with bold sportswear and not forgetting the iconic 3 stripes within the designs. Stating his vision behind the collaboration, Yamamoto says, “People started calling me The Master, but I doubted that ordinary people were wearing my clothes”.

The trainers in particular remain as popular as ever with the new wave of ‘sneaker heads’ and other sports/designer collaborations allowing the everyday man or woman to own a little piece of designer footwear, keeping it limited and luxurious. Yamamoto wanted to go back to “the street”, saying he was “inspired by people walking and wearing trainers”.

Some of the iconic trainers include the Honja Low, Tokio Trainer and Kazuhiri Mid. Using adidas classic silhouettes and taking them one step further with luxe detailing and simplified design. Using rich, soft leathers, sleek lacing and occasional flashes of contemporary print, the Y-3 trainers result in a futuristic vision but keep the essence of the classic heritage sportswear giant, adidas.
