It’s rare nowadays for a collaborative project to make so much sense that you’re left wondering why on earth it’s only happening now. Well the forthcoming partnership between fellow Massachusettsians (yes, we Googled that) SAUCONY ORIGINALS and PENFIELD has just that effect, with the SHADOW ORIGINAL 60/40 PACK.
With the two companies hailing from the North East of America and each sharing a long history of outdoorswear production, Saucony and Penfield are a perfect match both in geographical terms and ethos—hell, even their logos are both drawn from natural landmarks.
With their extensive garment archive thrown open, Penfield chose to graft their signature Teflon-coated 60/40 Nylon-Cotton fabric onto the Saucony Shadow Original to create a water-repellent, durable shoe that can endure the rigours of the street as well as the trail. With the 60/40 fabric already well-suited for use alongside hide, it has been overlaid with suede in three seasonally-appropriate colour combinations: tan/navy; navy/grey and olive/purple. Flecked midsoles, 2 sets of hiking laces and an added D-loop round out the shoe’s outdoor aesthetic, while Penfield get their rightful recognition on the woven tongue label.
Having shot the campaign, we can give you an extra few shots to show you just how solid the trio really is – although they’re that good, we’re not sure you need any further convincing…
The Saucony Originals x Penfield pack is launching on Saturday 29th November and will only be available in OFFSPRING Selfridges London.

Nike x Liberty is back with it’s tenth collaboration and for the first time updating a heritage print with a modern polka dot overlay.
Using some of Nike’s favourite silhouettes and adding 3 new sneakerboot styles, this AW14 collection takes on the Belmont Ivy print in navy and burgundy for a classic, autumnal feel.
When taking a closer look at the print the ivy leaves are in fact ripped up pieces of the One Pound note, a subtle nod to Liberty’s British heritage.
The Nike x Liberty collection is launching in store and online here on 2nd December.
We have teamed up with adidas again to launch a pack of two unique styles featuring some classic silhouettes fused with premium materials.
First released in 1988 the ZX420 has been pulled into the 21st century featuring a mix of mono red croc effect leather, creased leather and suede uppers, whilst keeping true to its original ZX shape. The tongue features lightweight reflective components and contrasting, tonal branded ice gum sole.
Also reminiscent of the early 90’s; the Torsion Response Lite, adopts a modern style whilst staying true to its running roots. The classic moulded sock liner features a neoprene update, stingray effect, grey leather uppers and classic nubuck 3-Stripes.
Designed collaboratively in-house, this exclusive pack launches on the 21st November and will only be available in OFFSPRING stores and online here.
This winter we have taken on the elements and teamed up with Timberland to create the ‘Storm’ boot.

In addition the boot has double quilted cuff detailing for a snug fit and both logos of Timberland and Offspring embossed onto each heel.
To celebrate the launch of this exciting collaboration we had an exclusive party in our Offspring, Shoreditch store last Thursday.

Mary Katrantzou has teamed up with adidas to present adidas Originals by Mary Katrantzou, a capsule collection of innovative footwear emblazoned in the designer’s iconic, hyper-colour, kaleidoscopic patterns.
After partnering with greats like Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens, and, more recently, Pharrell Williams, you would think that Adidas had already given us some amazing collaborations but they have hit us with yet another design great.
Track shoes worn by medal winners in the 1970s and 1980s were the inspiration for Katrantzou, who reworked Adidas’ iconic looks with bright colours, prints and embellishment. Featuring 6 styles which include the Marathon, ZX5000 and Equipment Racer, this women’s collection is unique and a fantastic fashion statement.
adidas Originals x Mary Katrantzou is now available in selected Offspring stores and online.
adidas Originals are honouring the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin wall and marking this history defining moment with the release of the ‘Fall of the Wall’ pack, reworking the classic 1989-released ZX8000 runner in three unique colourways.
1989 was a year that redefined the social landscape of Germany as a nation divided was brought back together after 37 years with the collapse of this infamous wall.
Constructed in Germany, the pack takes direct inspiration from the three American Allied checkpoints that were located around the East/West Germany border; ‘Alpha’, ‘Bravo’ and ‘Charlie’.
Located 160km from Berlin, Checkpoint Alpha was one of the most important German borders during the Cold War. Taking inspiration from the crossing’s dark building and large stretches of grey asphalt, the ‘Alpha’ features black leather uppers with tonal mesh panelling.
Inspired by the pastel hues of Checkpoint Bravo, this ZX 8000 is constructed from salmon pink nubuck with synthetic underlays, a bright yellow heel cage and light aqua accents running throughout.
The most famous of all the German border crossings, Checkpoint Charlie was located right in the heart of Berlin. ‘Charlie’ is decked out in premium white leather with tonal canvas underlays, finished with a black heel cage and a natural leather lining.
This highly exclusive release is launching on Saturday 8th November and will be available online here and in selected Offspring stores. Check your nearest one for availability.
Built around the idea that “more is more,” the Nike Air Max 90 defined an era of excess and bigger-than-life personalities.
In the past, dreadful weather confined the Air Max 90 to the wardrobe, but now the SneakerBoot version breaks that boundary.
The powerhouse Nike designer Tinker Hatfield created the original Nike Air Max 90 more than two decades ago, and the beloved shoe isn’t easy to adapt, explains designer Ben Yun about the SneakerBoot creation process:
“It was very intimidating. The shoe is so well recognized, I sometimes feel like changing it in any way is at some level destroying it”
Yun then ruminated on the core characteristics of Nike SneakerBoots: timeless Nike footwear styles, lightweight functionality and rugged resistance to the elements.
After honing the aesthetics of the Air Max 90 SneakerBoot, Yun then addressed functionality. The fully lined, gusseted, and waterproof upper combines with a reflective Swoosh logo, tongue, and quarter panels, as well as an aggressive outsole pattern to make the Air Max 90 SneakerBoot winter’s worst nightmare. Other details include oversized eyestays and heel-tabs, and the classic Air Max 90 midsole design that preserves the original DNA that makes the Air Max 90 SneakerBoot unmistakably Air Max.
