Coming soon: The Air Max 1 OG Red

The most iconic sneaker of our time, the Air Max 1 OG 2017 Red is returning. It was the shoe that started it all and the Air Max 87 was the first shoe with the visible Nike Air. What was once thought as outlandish, developer Mark Parker and designer Tinker Hatfield worked closely in pushing the design of the Air Max 87 forward. The 1987 design remains true to form, with key features of the visible air unit, soft white mesh and classic red feature to the mudguard, branding and Swoosh. An essential to your Nike collection.

SKEPTA X NIKE

The most iconic style of shoe of 2017 recently collaborated with a famous international Grime Artist. Skepta and Nike launched the Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 SK.  Marrakesh is the inspiration behind this iridescent trainer. In celebration of the Moroccan city, the Air Max 97 is nothing short on style, colour and impact. Nike promoted this once off design in ‘one of the best events’ of the year. Arches were converted into a functioning souk, where guests could indulge in branded products, food, drink, hair styling and flower shopping. A Live performance from the man himself, left the crowd wanting the night to ever end.  Big up to Nike x Skepta for delivering a memorable evening and collaboration.

Nike Classic Cortez KM QS

The Nike Cortez made it’s first debut in 1972 and was the first ever track shoe designed by Nike. Designed by Bill Bowerman, who felt that athletes needed a shoe that was comfortable, durable and could withstand long distance running. The protege to sport this shoe was Kenny Moore. The KM QS Cortez are set to launch soon, and the three models set to be released will pay homage to the very first development of the shoe as well as the athlete who sported them. Colours available are yellow, blue and white, all which highlight a prolific sporting event this style of shoe  partook in. Cortez are known for superior cushioning and support, and the latest additions pay close attention to detailing.

Converse One Star 74

The iconic One Star 74 was recently released, and with the upcoming Tyler the Creator collaboration, Converse is the star of the sneaker show.

Converse is an iconic footwear brand, and what was once a basic basketball shoe design found its purpose beyond the court. The humble All Star has been regularly updated or altered in one way or another since it was introduced a century ago.Despite being a relative underachiever on its original release, the Converse One Star’s impact has been substantial.

What was once classified as the All Star, the One Star shoe made it’s debut 1970s, but a bigger release was noted in 1974.The One Star’s comeback has arrived with welcomed modifications. Notable collaborations have been with Tokyo’s fragment design that redefines familiarity with a tactile type of suede, while Neighborhood play on metal and hardcore connections. Tyler The Creator is set to launch his collaboration with One Star, and we eagerly await the release.
