Adidas Orginals-NG Garwen SPZL

The NG Garwen SPZL launched today, where the new Adidas shoe was inspired by the iconic Noel Gallagher’s vintage Brisbanes. The Garwen SPZL is a range developed from the Brisbane boot, which were originally launched in the 1980s from the Adidas leisure series.

The limited edition shoe was designed with the help of the famous member of Oasis. The shoe is made up of premium leather and all navy upper, and the sole is reference to the original leisure series. The shoe has a split footbed, finished with Noel’s portrait and carries his birthday ‘serial number’ inside the collar.

Adidas Originals x Alexander Wang

The third collection of Adidas x Alexander is set to launch soon. The unisex pack is spirited upon the deconstruction, defiance and disruption between fashion and street wear. The products were captured by creative Jeurgen Teller and features Madonna’s son, Rocco. The three stripes have been reconstructed throughout the collection, showcasing Wang’s ability to communicate his contemporary approach to the athletic brands aesthetics. Forever Chuck

Converse recently dropped their latest campaign, Forever Chuck. Starring noteworthy culture drivers like Millie Bobbie Brown, Maisie Williams, Winnie Harlowe and Vince Staples.

The footage was directed by Karim Huu Do, where modern day heroes share their Converse story. Contemporary street culture is merged with a rich brand history and the result of a new-age spirit of Chuck is formed.

Back to School with Rihanna and Fenty x Puma

The Fenty x Puma is set to launch online on March 9th, but Rihanna debuted her third collection with the brand in Paris last night. Themed as ‘Fenty University’, the show was held within the Bibliothèque nationale de France library and the catwalk was set  upon long desks. The collegiate uniforms gained popular social media coverage and promoted further anticipation for the online launch tomorrow.

Reebok Classic Launch the #ZOKURUNNER

Our Thursday evening we attended the latest Reebok Classic launch of the Zoku Runner and were entertained by the famous American rapper, Future. At the event we explored the development and the design of the Zoku runner, whilst being served refreshments and entertained by the likes of DJ MK, Radi Dadi and AJ.

Reebok Classic successfully delivered the hype of the Zoku Runner. The Zoku uses the classic heritage woven shoe and is advanced with ULTRAKNIT technology. Style and culture combined as one.

 

Insta Art

Now we all know the impact that social media has on our everyday lives. It brought you here, to this blog post. It’s how we communicate, how we shop, how some of us build our careers and even how we find love. But have we ever thought about the impact it has had on art?

Unit London, founded in 2013 by 2 young artists wanted to “break down barriers of elitism” and include everyone in contemporary art. They’ve teamed up with Avante Arte to hold a free exhibition in London of art popularised on Instagram. Fact of the day, it’s reported that “48% of art buyers use Instagram”. We headed down to Wardour street to check it out.
