OffspringHQ presents Air Max Day 2022

Please Read First 3.0

Sneaker lovers from 3 cities (London, Amsterdam, and Berlin) came together to play for Nike-funded donations to give back and spotlight purposeful causes in their city.
In collaboration with SNKRS, we gave away tickets to Give Fresh Air: The Game Show, live in London on Air Max Day 3.26.

Give Fresh Air is a rallying cry to unify sneaker culture around a shared passion to ignite change. Kicking off in 2019, Give Fresh Air was started as an initiative where Nike and partners created ways to give “Air” to support local organizations and champion the power of the community.

Teaming up with PAQ for the third year running we produced an Offspring Community Air Max Day Zine, featuring Air Max themed artwork from the Community. The artwork was also featured at the Nike event…

Artwork created by three of our community members was displayed on the day.

Big thanks to @m._fernandes @byteganprice & @rakitecht

Also big ups to all who contribute to the digital version.

Vol. 3 is a very limited release featuring artwork from the community. Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Starfish’

Ladies, you’re up… The orange-red colour named ‘Starfish’ is now on your favourite OG silhouette. Included in the ‘Shattered Backboard’ collection of colourways, named after the 1985 event which saw MJ himself literally shatter a backboard. This then dubbed the pair he was wearing at the time of the dunk ‘Shattered Backboard’ and influenced a whole series of colourways behind the Jordan brand.

The orange-red, white and black colour scheme is created with smooth quality leather, with perforations across the toe box. A bright white leather base, contrasting orange overlays, black laces and swoosh make this a standout pair. Jordan ‘Wings’ logo appears in a distinctive black, standing out on the beautiful shade of red. The woven Nike Air tag features on the breathable nylon tongue. As usual, the Jordan 1 Low optimises comfort with a lightweight cushion and a contained Air sole unit.

This staple summer shoe is a must for your 2021 collection, a new fresh colourway with ties to the epic history of the Michael Jordan Brand.

Launching 28/08 in Women’s sizes, Men’s sizes TBC.

Nike Air Huarache ‘Triple Black’ 29.5

“Have you Hugged Your Foot Today?”

Celebrating its 30th birthday this year with multiply releases, now here is a special edition of the ‘London Hyperlocal’ OG Huarache. The ‘Triple Black’, one of the most successful monochrome silhouettes out there.

“Have you Hugged Your Foot Today?” the slogan created especially for Nike’s Huarache in 1991. The neoprene layer gives another level of comfort, with a full foot hug. This edition is dressed in special materials, a new toe box mesh and panel overlays. The sole is translucent with the well know quote devoted to the Huarache itself, making this one extra special.

To honour the release, we reached out to our London Offspring Community to find out what the Huarache means to them, David, Jackie, Jamina, Jon, Mo and Tasha provide us with their unique sneaker stories. This half-sock half-shoe creation brings the community together but especially in London, the home of the hype. Check out our Instagram to read their personal stories.

Air Jordan 3 ‘Rust Pink’

The Air Jordan 3 releasing 28/5, exclusively in Women’s sizes via a regional raffle.

Michael Jordan’s third signature pair of basketball shoes, now a staple pair worn by the sneaker community. Since its first design in 1988, the legendary shoe has owned many colourways. Now the ‘Rust Pink’ is here, perfectly paired to the upcoming summer months in a pretty pink.

Gracefully structured in exquisite nubuck uppers, highlighted on the heel and toe cap with a textured elephant print of rose and cream. Sail leathers on the tongue, collar and under the mid-panel eyelets set off the shoes effortlessly. Flash red accents feature on the heel, loop holes and the Jumpman branding on the tongue. The off-white also emphasises the midsole, laces and some eyelets.

Of course, the classic Jordan shoe features the air bubble, maximising comfort and creating the Jordan identity. Underfoot has a cloudy translucent sole, with crimson Jordan branding. A special soft rose embroidered Jumpman graces the back of the silhouette.

The lucky regional raffle winners will be collecting from our London, Birmingham and Manchester Trafford stores.

Air Jordan 1 Hi OG Shadow 2.0

Coming out of the shadows. It’s been a long time, 35 years to be exact since its initial launch as part of the original line-up in 1985. The first Michael Jordan shoe that transformed basketball and street style forever. The Air Jordan High ‘Shadow 2.0’ unveiled as part of the Air Jordan Summer ’21 collection.
A discreet difference to the original at first, but you can recognise the flip on the original shadow colourway with a closer look. Super clean colour blocking with the black, smoke grey and white. Unflawed stitching to match the lighter grey nubuck, an alteration from the OG.
Classic Michael Jordan wings emblem on the lateral ankle collar, keeping up with the original is the blackout nylon tongue, completed with Nike tab. The black and white contrast nicely on the soles of the high top silhouette
Regional raffle with collection from our London, Birmingham and Manchester City stores.

Offspring 20 | Timberland | Tea & Toast

Throughout the 1990’s, Timberland created a host of classics recognised by the world over. Featuring the brands distinguished styling, certain colour ways became notorious along with their incidental nick-names; Beef and Broccoli and Mac and Cheese to name but a few.

Offspring has taken this concept and given it a quintessentially British twist to mark the 20th Anniversary; Tea & Toast.

1996 saw an abundance of cafés on Neal Street and tea and toast was a popular staple within the stores at the time. The collaboration draws inspiration from this landmark year with the 6” Premium Boot, finished in tones alike to the classic snack. Featuring premium full-grain nubuck and leather, the boot is also finished with the Offspring landscape lining in blue to represent classic china.

Launching on 11.11.16 these limited edition boots are accompanied with a bespoke ‘Bread loaf’ printed box and Offspring 20th Anniversary tissue paper.
