This Autumn we have teamed up with Puma to release an exclusive collection of 4 archive silhouettes in some classic colourways.
Some may remember the birth of “terrace” fashion back in the ’70s/’80s, originating in the North of England amongst football fans. The look started when football fans started following their teams around Europe often coming back with trainers that weren’t available in the UK, therefore giving them one up on their mates. This obsession with European sportswear soon took hold with fans across the country and the birth of the casual “terrace” look was born.
Often suede with clean lines and slim soles, the terrace trainer has remained a classic and favourite amongst football fans through the generations. Nowadays the look isn’t quite as bold as it once was as the new generation haven’t quite brought back the shell suit jacket.
The Puma Archive pack is releasing the Roma (1968), the Trimm Quick (1970), the G. Vilas (1970) and Court Star (1980) and all stay true to their roots with the distinctive terrace aesthetic.
The pack with launch online and in-store this month, stay tuned for updates and follow @offspringhq.

After the first two offerings from Kanye West’s collaboration with adidas Originals, it was about time we were offered a third instalment and we are pretty hyped for the pirate black colourway to drop this weekend.

This year marks 20 years since the iconic Nike Air Max 95 was released, which quickly became a fashion symbol of the 90’s.
A History
This classic Niketrainer took sneaker design to a new level as the designer Sergio Lozano took the human body as his source of inspiration. The silhouette used elements of the body as its template for the make up of the shoe. The midsole represented the spine, the graduated panels were the muscle fibres, the loop holes and straps were the ribs and the mesh was the skin.
The OG colourway was presented in black, neon yellow and white and featured minimal Nike branding, with a small Swoosh on the outer heel. The neon yellow emphasised the 3 visible AirSole units and the technical appearance of the shoe gave the impression of a serious running trainer.
20th Anniversary
Recently we saw the release of the Anniversary pack featuring the OG, Jacquard and Greedy colourways, released to celebrate this classic trainer and put it back on sneakerhead’s minds.
Coming Soon
This Thursday sees the launch of the Air Max 95 “Pure Platinum”, which features a metallic silver upper etched with a laser cut design and icy blue features on the sole. It will be available to buy online here and in store on the 20th August.
This year is definitely the year of the Air Max 95 and we can’t wait to see more releases of this old school classic.
Featuring a mostly black colourway, each Nike style has brushed, metallic silver effect panels, giving the illusion of glistening raindrops on a tarmac road.

The adidasOriginals x Pharrell collaboration is back with his new “Supershell” collection.
After the success of the Supercolor pack, this new collection is adding another unique spin to the much loved Superstar silhouette.
A collaboration within a collaboration, Pharrell has worked with a series of artists to create this pack and each of them have reworked the shell toe according to their style. Within this artist series there are 2 collections, the Artwork that features a print design and the Sculpted that features a 3D embossed toe.
OFFSPRING will be stocking the designs by Todd James, Mr. and Pharrell himself all designed on the all black or all white mono Superstar.
Todd James is a celebrated New York artist whose paintings and installations have been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, including both the 2001 and 2015 Venice Biennales. His immediate and insistent works draw influence from Saturday morning cartoons, subway graffiti, American popular culture and world events. “Todd James is a guy who’s always marched to the beat of his own drum. He’s just always created these super interesting paintings and drawings. He brings you into his own world. Sometimes certain things have an effect on you that you can’t really put into words.”
-Pharrell Williams
Mr. is a Japanese contemporary artist based in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He works in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, and video – though his works are all closely related in aesthetics, style, and theme. Rendered in the anime style, the girls in his paintings incorporate the unique Japanese concept of ‘moe’ to depict a new form of beauty and refracted sexuality of the contemporary age. In 2014, he set his art to music by directing the unique music video for Pharrell Williams’s It Girl. “Mr is a wizard. His mind and his work remind us all that there’s an inner child in all of us. It’s interesting because when other people try to paint the same things it can send off very different messages. But somehow, Mr. is a master of depicting innocence, and I love that about his work. Mr., which really means master.”
-Pharrell Williams
The collection will be available online and in-store from the 7th August 2015. There will be events on the weekend of launch in our OFFSPRING Camden, Commercial St. and Selfridges London stores, follow @offspringhq for updates.
