UltraBOOST Uncaged celebrates the creativity of adidas’ community

adidas has continued to pioneer brand and fan co-creation with the introduction of UltraBOOST Uncaged, a shoe inspired by consumer customisation and perfected by the innovation experts of adidas Running.

In 2015, global trendsetters sparked a craze for modifying adidas’ leading running shoe, UltraBOOST, cutting off its external support cage to show off the stylish Primeknit upper.

UltraBOOST Uncaged features an adapted internal midfoot skeleton using technology developed for the world’s top track athletes, to deliver highly technical support and comfort within the fan-inspired sleek new look.

A re-engineered adidas Primeknit upper with an adaptive knit collar provides breathability and flexible movement through each stride. A new multi-tiered lacing system allows runners to personalise style and fit, while specially-designed flat laces offer enhanced comfort and stability.
