The Gazelle was released in its original form in 1968 and quickly became popular among football fans in the UK and Europe. During the 1980's the original design was changed to include a larger T shaped toe box and a semi-translucent mid sole. This Indoor re-issue by adidas Originals is presented in a premium white leather upper with black three stripe branding, a thin textured tongue and soft leather lining. Other details include a natural gum cupsole with embossed branding, embossed branding on the tongue and a metallic gold printed 'Gazelle' logo on the side.
