ZX 9000 x Offspring by adidas
The ZX 9000 takes inspiration from some of the cities raw, industrious architecture and taking this principle and applying it to the make up of the shoe. We have inverted the tongue label, flipped the internal product label to the outside, exposed the foam on the side stripes and used hairy suede to give this shoe a real industrial feel. The Turquoise pops are a nod back to the iconic ZX 9000 OG, a shoe that is part of London’s sneaker history. The River Thames can be seen on the heel with London co-ordinates set out below. The insole also acts as a map which pinpoints Offspring’s London store locations, and the flashes of blue and red, a nod back to the country’s flag.
