Meet long standing community member and aspiring photographer James AKA @stillrago. Many of you may already know this amazing talent from his social channels as well as the work he’s previously done for us on our LA to LONDON adidas collaboration.
Photography has always been a side passion for James ever since he picked up a camera 7 years ago. Currently working in the construction industry, there were many things he excels in when it comes to photography but equally as many things he wanted to improve on.
‘I started photography in around 2015. Primarily to document my own and some close friend’s trainer collections.’
After speaking with him and getting a better understanding of what photography techniques he wanted to improve on, we paired James with an experienced product photographer who could mentor him and give professional training on set, talking him through studio lighting and how to capture the best product shots.
The result was incredible, James was like a duck to water and nailed the brief. The outcome of this session now will be James taking on our season shoot for adidas originals AW22 collection, where his work will be featured across all our channels.
