The Community laced up in the Roger Advantages and had a team talk from our two coaches before hitting the courts.
We started off in skill-based sessions, learning how to properly back hand and forehand, serve, and get used to playing Padel through drills. We then moved on to practicing rebounds off the glass before going into rallies. The Community picked it up quick!
Warmed up and getting the hang of it we introduced a new skill - forehand and backhand volley.
It was time for a tournament Americano style - playing doubles but competing as an individual. The winning team moved up a court and the losing team moved down. Who doesn't like a bit of healthy competition?
Shout out to On, Racketeer, and the Community for showing up to make an amazing PLAYoffs. This was the first time playing for a lot of people which is what OFFSPRING PLAYoffs is all about!
