It’s been a long time coming; we’ve planned, we’ve teased and on 2nd November, Offspring opened the doors to your new King’s Cross Community store.

For the launch event it was essential we invited as many of you as we could, our Community – some who have been there from the start and some of the new generation, all who share our passion for Sneakers, Culture and Community.

We would have had you all there but for health and safety regulations – it was already a road block!

This highly anticipated celebration brought together the best of London sneaker culture, with DJs, delectable food, expertly crafted cocktails, captivating artworks, and a few surprise goodies. The event was a testament to Offspring’s commitment to providing an immersive experience for our sneaker enthusiasts. Let’s dive into the highlights…

A SNEAKER PARADISE UNVEILED

The store’s sleek design and spacious layout provided the perfect backdrop for the meticulously curated selection of exclusive releases, limited editions, and timeless classics. From sought-after collaborations to iconic silhouettes, this flagship store is a testament to the city’s thriving sneaker culture. And how can we not mention the serious ‘heat on feet’ the Community flexed through the store.

ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS

Offspring recognise that sneaker culture and art go hand in hand. As a tribute to the creative spirit of the Community, the launch event showcased the talents of Community artists and creatives, who brought their unique perspectives to The Platform. From sneaker-inspired illustrations, photography and installations, the exhibited works ignited our imagination, celebrating the artistic expressions that thrive within the Community. The exhibition will be running for 2 weeks.

SOUNDTRACK FOR THE SOLE

Music played a vital role in setting the mood for this opening event. DJs @djbhavzee and @heysenses took to the decks, spinning beats that resonated with the soul of every sneakerhead present. From hip-hop anthems to infectious electronic rhythms, the music created an electric atmosphere, infusing the space with an undeniable energy.

SPICIN’ UP THE EVENING

@wingshackco spiced things up, ensuring the Community were well-nourished during the evening. Their mouth-watering wings and deliciously sticky sauce totally enticed. @wrayandnephew and @wedrinkchaps added more punch to the opening event, artfully crafting a variety of signature cocktails with a constant queue throughout the evening testament to their craft.
