Offspring had the pleasure of hosting our first ever IRL podcast in the Kings Cross store with our friends over at @sneakersandrecreation for their podcast ‘Hoops & Recreation’. It was an evening filled with all thing’s basketball and sneakers for our community members in attendance.

1st Quarter: Tipping the evening off was a discussion of some of the biggest trades so far this season with the NBA trade deadline fast approaching. Standouts included James Harden to the Clippers and OG Onunoby to the NY Knicks (much to Mark’s delight). The guys at Hoops & Recreation invited the Community to come with bold Kendrick Perkins-esque takes… Would Jimmy Buckets to OKC make them Championship contenders?
2nd Quarter: Dominating the court was all things sneakers and SOTY debates about the best Basketball Retros of 2023. Here were some of the shouts from the guys at Hoops and Recreation:

3rd Quarter: With all-star weekend around the corner, the third kicked off the All-Star discussions.
4th Quarter: Down to “clutch time” for the Community. With all-star weekend around the corner, they helped the Hoops and Recreation guys battle it out in drafting their fantasy All-Star starting 5 with a pick from the 80s,90s,00s,10s and 20s in each round.
Matt – Magic Johnson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Allen Iverson, Lebron James, Nicola Jokic.
Mark – Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo. (Unanimous winners)
Wardy – Isiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid.
