Inspired by the Offspring Community, London, and classic fitted caps of the past.
Over a couple years we’ve built mystique and teased this collab was coming. Some of you were savvy enough to ask when you saw afew of us repping it at launch days and events and to a lot of you we had to lie and say it was a sample 😊 Finally the hat was out of the bag and we announced the launch in Dec 2023 with an amazing response from you all.
For us this was our first endeavour into head wear and who else to team up with,the leader in this field, New Era. We knew we had to create something quite iconic but classic at the same time. So, we based the front logo on the classic gothic font NE is known for. The OS signifying Offspring in short was a significant and first for us. We then added a side patch that represents our home town London, with the iconic skyline, thames river outline and a nod of our hats, so to speak, to our loyal community. As you all know we love to hide details within our collabs and this hat was no exception. If you were lucky enough to pick one up, you’ll see the offspring head on the back and inside of the hat has a raft of call outs too.
To celebrate the of our first collaboration with @neweraeurope, we hosted an embroidery machine for the weekend of launch in our King’s Cross store. Those purchasing the cap in-store were able to get their cap embroidered and personalised courtesy of Offspring and New Era.
The launch was a roaring success with all hats selling out and us now left, hat less, scratching our heads whether we should do another one...?
