To celebrate the launch of the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Make Your Mark’, we teamed up with Kia Commodore to highlight the work she does, her story and the help she provides to the community.
These stories seek to champion and empower Black Mark Makers, drawing visibility to their efforts in service of the Black community and the world around them.
Making magic from the mundane and leaving legacies for their community and beyond, Mark Makers show that they are actively pushing boundaries and digging deep to make their mark. Kia Commodore is upskilling all those that discover her content to better manage and increase their money.
“I just wanted to help one person, that has always been my goal. If I can help one person, then I feel like I’ve done my job. I never had a role model in this space, I hope I am one for people.”
Kia Commodore is a personal finance coach making money management simple. Through her successful podcast Pennies to Pounds, she takes financial literacy and makes it easily digestible for her community and beyond. Helping all to build the skills and resources they need to make their mark.
