In 2005, Adidas ignited a new era in sneaker culture with the launch of the Consortium Series - a visionary platform rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and global collaboration.
The Consortium series began not as a product line, but as a conversation between heritage and innovation, local style and global influence.
With each release limited in number, Consortium set the stage for adidas to celebrate not only its own legacy, but also the communities and cultures that shaped it.
During Paris Fashion Week, DSM played host to the Adidas Consortium exhibition celebrating 20 years of the series. Levi Pitters –a Brooklyn-based artist working under the name Pitter Patter – is known for his sculptural furniture that transforms real people's clothing into interactive, leg-based tables. His signature "Boot-Legs" series began in 2021 as a guerrilla-style street installation and quickly gained cult status for its playful, tongue-in-cheek approach to bootleg culture. For this exhibition Pitters designed and created his iconic sculptural tables, sporting different Adidas silhouettes, amongst which Offspring and other leading retailers’ Consortium Cup entires could be found.
Marking the 35th anniversary of the iconic Superstar, this initiative invited a select group of trailblazing retail stores, designers, and artists from around the world to reimagine the silhouette that had defined generations. Keep your eyes peeled for Offspring’s offering!
