Converse Creative All Star // Feng Cheng Wang #OFFSPRINGHQCOMMUNITY

Converse’s Creative All Star series encourages the next generation to embrace their individuality and strengthen their talents through experiences that mobilise creativity and the exchange of ideas.

On Thursday 13^th February in London, two of our #offspringhqcommunity patch winners had the chance to learn, craft and celebrate the game of basketball, the London way. Using Converse’s heritage to put a new twist on fashion and creativity, while also utilizing products as a canvas for creative expression and personalization by local London collaborators and creatives.

CONVERSE X OFFSPRING COMMUNITY PACK

On Thursday 16th July, Offspring will release the next installment of the ‘Community Chuck 70’s’ pack with Converse.

The collection features both the Converse Chuck 70 Hi and Lo models, but this time around we have opted for a more muted colour palette in shades of grey, using premium tumbled leather & nubuck.

This release will come with all the original details from the first collection as well a few new upgrades; embossed lightning bolt on the vamp, secret debossed members name label on the tongue and Offspringhq deboss on the midsole. The Community laces are another signature detail of the collection.

You can find the collection online from 6pm on 16th July
The Low retails for £74.99 and the Hi retails for £79.99

Onitsuka Tiger x asics x OFFSPRING Launch Party

On Thursday 28th August the Commercial Street store in Shoreditch, London hosted the launch party for one of OFFSPRING‘s most anticipated collaborations.

Inspired by the colours of the desert at dawn and dusk, this Onitsuka Tiger x asics and OFFSPRING pack of two was designed by one of our very own, sports buyer Aman Tak.

The party was full to the brim with artists, bloggers and trainer fanatics, all there to enjoy these exclusive and limited edition designs.

It definitely went off with a bang with great music from DJ Alex Sessions and the endless buzz of sneaker chat.

The Gel Lyte V has now officially sold out but you can still get the limited Shaw Runner here.

The pack was definitely a crowd pleaser and the guys at Dropdate thought so too, check out their review here.

Onitsuka Tiger x asics x OFFSPRING

We can now exclusively reveal the exciting limited edition collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger x asics x OFFSPRING.

To reveal these exclusives trainers, there are a few small steps to take before they will appear in 3D before your eyes.

1. First you will need an iPhone, iPad or iTouch and need to download the Sayduck app for free from the App Store.

2. Click on ‘Tap here to scan a marker page’ and hold your phone up to the screen so it can scan the image above.

3. Once the scan is complete you will see the exclusive reveal of our brand new Onitsuka Tiger x asics x OFFSPRING models.

Inspiration

The colours of the desert at dusk and night are the inspiration behind Desert Pack, a collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger, ASICS and sneaker boutique Offspring.

Two silhouettes bring together the best of sister brands Onitsuka Tiger and ASICS.

Onitsuka Tiger’s SHAW RUNNER is the cold and atmospheric night version of the Desert duo with its navy, white and tropical-green colour combination, and blue speckles on the white sole.

The Desert colourway of the ever-fresh GEL LYTE V tells the story of a sandy wilderness at dusk. Pink, beige and camel echo a post-sunset sky that reflects dark, mysterious shadows swallowed by the deep blue of twilight.

Offspring x Saucony – COMING SOON

Saucony Originals have teamed up with footwear giant Offspring to offer 2 fresh spins on the brand’s iconic Shadow 6000, taking their influence from classic colours from the Saucony archive and the streets of London’s Covent Garden. For the first time ever Saucony Originals have produced a fully unisex collaboration, with both colourways being available in both Men’s and Women’s sizes.

Inspired by the ‘We Run’ slogan found on the boxes of Saucony’s performance running shoes, the name ‘Running Since.. 96’ pays homage to the year Offspring launched their first store on Neal Street in Covent Garden, just yards from where they now share a space with the Saucony ‘Story of Running’ pop-up store.

Utilising pig skin suede, with a 3m reflective tongue the colours used in designing the two colourways take inspiration from the prevalent colours in Saucony’s rich archives – neon pink highlights the Saucony three dots logos and across the tongue detail whilst turquoise runs throughout both shoes, with the shoes’ grey base colour taking inspiration directly from the cobbled streets of Covent Garden which surround Neal Street.

Since 1991, the Shadow 6000 has been a favourite of the high-mileage runner who needs a running shoe with stability in the heel and extra flexibility and cushion in the forefoot. It has been such a success it still features in the Saucony 2014 performance line up.

The collaboration will be available from all Offspring stores nationwide from 10am on Saturday 5th of April, and Offspring.co.uk from 10am on Monday the 7^th of April, 10am uk time

Exclusive; The Converse Jack Purcell X Hudson’s Bay Company

The latest collaboration from Converse Jack Purcell meets the worldly heritage of Canada’s Hudson’s Bay Company. They have taken the iconic multi-stripe blanket with the equally iconic Jack Purcell trainer, executed in the Hudson’s Bay primary signature colours. For the first time ever, the classic woollen blanket is used in these unique styles for Autumn 2013.

Taking the unisex Jack Purcell and women’s Helen models, each style embodies the Hudson’s Bay wool point blanket stripes, featuring threaded stitching, antique brass eyelets, Jack Purcell and Hudson’s Bay logos and an official “Seal of Quality” maintaining the authenticity of Hudson’s Bay Company.

Founded in 1670 Hudson’s Bay Company is one of North America’s oldest lifestyle brands and for more than two centuries the point blanket has been a familiar staple in homes across Canada and around the World. Mirroring the iconic design, the wool used on the trainers is dyed before it is spun and is air and sun dried to brighten the colours.

The Converse Jack Purcell X Hudson’s Bay Company collection will be available from Offspring Selfridge’s London.

OFFSPRING X Adidas Originals worldwide Exclusive

OFFSPRING are excited to reveal the first sneak peek of the new OFFSPRING worldwide exclusive Adidas Originals ‘Pattern Pack’. Just to give you a little taster we can reveal the 3 unique patterns that will feature in this limited collection.

Continuing the celebration of Chinese Year of the Snake, we have a flash of scales in sleek tonal grey snakeskin.

A tribal inspired Aztec print combines bright and traditional colour accents in a classic geometric pattern.

Use of grey shades contrasting with pink and purple, lifts the bright multicoloured Polka Speckle print like an optical illusion.

Due for launch end of August we will be revealing more about the ‘Pattern Pack’ soon, so keep an eye out.

Vans X Disney Collection

Vault by Vans is a timeless collection of classic Vans styles that have been inspired by street fashion, art, music and over 40 years heritage in skateboarding and surfing.

The Vault by Vans collection kicks off its ten year anniversary by reissuing character prints that were originally released with Disney in the 1980s. Vans have utilised some of the animation house’s most loved characters and set them perfectly with some classic Vans silhouettes, making both brands instantly recognisable.

At Offspring HQ we were lucky enough to get our hands on an original Vans x Disney pair from the late 1980s. Featuring ecru cream uppers with the iconic Mickey Mouse pulling a variety of faces and his name emblazoned around the sole.

Discontinued for decades the prints have, in true Disney form, magically re-emerged for Vans Classic launch. This style assortment features the Authentic LX and Sk8-Hi LX, the first vulcanized, waffled sole styles in their truest form.
