Air Jordan 1 Hi OG Shadow 2.0

Coming out of the shadows. It’s been a long time, 35 years to be exact since its initial launch as part of the original line-up in 1985. The first Michael Jordan shoe that transformed basketball and street style forever. The Air Jordan High ‘Shadow 2.0’ unveiled as part of the Air Jordan Summer ’21 collection.
A discreet difference to the original at first, but you can recognise the flip on the original shadow colourway with a closer look. Super clean colour blocking with the black, smoke grey and white. Unflawed stitching to match the lighter grey nubuck, an alteration from the OG.
Classic Michael Jordan wings emblem on the lateral ankle collar, keeping up with the original is the blackout nylon tongue, completed with Nike tab. The black and white contrast nicely on the soles of the high top silhouette

Air Jordan 1 OG Hi ‘Patina’

Another big day for the #offspringhqcommunity. The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Patina” is here, with its experimental brushed-bronze look it sure is a standout colourway for this year’s releases. Inspired by the chemical reaction of metals resulting in a Patina, a form of corrosion.
Built from panels of black leather uppers, highlighted with the shimmering brown brass overlays. “AIR JORDAN” branding on the lateral ankle flap in a ‘Patina’ inspired light green shade. All elements finished on a sail midsole and black rubber outsole.

Air Jordan 1 Hi OG University Blue ‘UNC’

35 years since the Air Jordan 1 was born, and it’s still a massive hit in the trainer community. Part of the Spring 2021 Jordan collection, the “University Blue” colourway will be launching on the 6th of March.

Inspired by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. On the uppers, genuine University Blue leather to the heel, toe cap, ankle flap and outsole, with contrasting white on the quarter panel, tongue, toe box and midsole and black on the Swoosh and collar. A classic colour-scheme.

Nike x READYMADE Blazers

Over 45 years after its introduction, the Blazer is still busy reinventing its presence — but it’s safe to say you’ve never seen the design like this. Backed by Japanese designer Yuta Hosokawa and his READYMADE label, this collaborative release features distorted dimensions and a DIY-inspired aesthetic that retains the style’s core DNA while adding a handcrafted feel to the timeless silhouette.

On the upper, fabric overlays pay homage to READYMADE’s penchant for employing second-hand materials in pursuit of something new. Camouflage-inspired graphics and exposed foam put a fresh twist on the collar and tongue, while the midfoot Swoosh sports re-worked proportions that nod to an OG version of the logo from 1971. Underneath, an angular midsole is comprised of standard Nike foams and about 15 percent Nike Grind rubber, meaning the shoe utilises a collection of materials originating from manufacturing scrap and worn-out sneakers that would otherwise enter the waste stream.

Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “LDN”

More than 35 years after its debut, the Air Jordan 1 still stands as a tireless and versatile design.

The rebuilt edition gives the silhouette extra comfort by adding Zoom Air technology, with an air bag under the sock liner providing extra cushioning and support.

The ‘London’ Edition, in its grey tones pays homage to the City. Using a mix of tumbled and smooth leather, and hits of technical mesh on the cut out swoosh.

We are treated to exposed foam detailing to give the pair a more vintage aesthetic and a ‘LDN’ leather hang tag to complete the story.
